INDIA	Oil Exploration and Production Project	When establishing a FPU offshore in SE India, the client sought the assistance of the Safety Consultancy to introduce an effective Safety Management System Resistance to change, local cultural barriers and internal language problems had to be overcome to reduce incident rates and to instil a prevailing safety first attitude. Extensive Safety Training was introduced for all personnel and reporting procedures were reissued and strictly monitored. Through persistent mentoring, effective communication and the implementation of restructing recommendations, the various departments were brought together and the organisation developed a positive safety culture. The result was a visibly well-organised and safe work environment that in turn materially reduced the incident rate.
INDIA	Oil Production	Our clients primary objective was the protection of their UK technicians on an assignment with an established Indian parastatal oil producer . Major hygiene and environmental problems were identified and reduced to an acceptable level and a workable communication system was established with local area management. In addition, protection and evacuation systems were evaluated and updated. During the course of the UK technicians assignment, no major incidents were recorded.
SENEGAL	Oil Production	The Safety Consultancy directed the occupational and environmental safety of this project from green field through large-scale civil operations and construction to commissioning. Standard Operating Procedures were created and implemented, and safety briefings, workshops, and advice were given to the multi cultural - multi trade, workforce. Site Safety Management Systems and Practices were firmly established and a timely and effective communications system was created independent of the individual contractors management structure. As a result, the number of reportable incidents was significantly reduced.
