Loss Prevention Managers

SSI provides Loss Prevention Managers for Mining, Oil & Gas, Agro Estate, Commercial and Industrial projects irrespective of their remoteness or complexity. These are drawn from a variety of backgrounds including the Police, Armed Services, and Special Forces. SSI managers implement or update a client's security program, to ensure losses are contained through the introduction of "best practice" policies and procedures. If required they will vet and train the Ôin-house' guard force and, where applicable, introduce physical and electronic safety and security measures to reduce costs and improve the deterrent capabilities of the overall program. SSI managers also provide ongoing day-to-day management of a client's security force, or alternatively undertake frequent audits to ensure continued compliance and effectiveness.

Field Security Operatives

SSI provides Field Security Operatives to safeguard a client's workforce and property in remote / hostile locations. SSI assesses the threats and risks involved in each assignment, and provides the most efficient and cost effective protection solution. Field Operatives are drawn from Special Forces units and are fully trained in close protection techniques. Their primary mission is to:

• Ensure a safe working environment for operations
• Protect equipment, personnel, property and concessions

SSI Field Operatives are specialists in the protection of operations such as rigs, seismic survey teams, exploration sites, pipelines, plantations, and similar activities where the security of people and property is paramount.
