The Effective Deterrent

Emergency Response subscribers have a warning system installed in their premises connected by radio telemetry to a central monitoring station. When an 'alarm activation' occurs, one of several strategically pre-positioned intervention forces is instantly dispatched to arrive on the scene within minutes. Two alternative methods of alarm activation are offered:

(a) Manual activation, via a system of strategically placed fixed "panic buttons" or by remote "panic buttons" that can be carried by a guard or located around the perimeter of premises
(b) Automatic intruder detection, via the installation of a variety of "sensors".

Automatic detection offers a number of benefits over a simple manual system; however both systems provide the same key benefit; that the intervention force is guaranteed to arrive within the agreed time parameters and that effective assistance is provided when required.

Team's Emergency Response Service is differentiated from those of its competitors by the infrastructure and controls it puts in place to ensure adherence to the service standards. These include:

  • A zoning system that ensures intervention vehicles are in a position to respond to each client within their 'zone' within minutes, including coverage when a vehicle is called out on an alarm.
  • A well equipped and trained react force, that deploys in "rapid and impressive military fashion"
  • A computerised recording system that details the time, speed, distance and duration of each and every vehicle movement. In addition the client is provided with computerised records giving details of the time of the alarm activation and the arrival time of the intervention force
  • A radio network that allows real-time reliable voice communication between the central station and the intervention forces, wherever their location within the zones.
