The Effective Deterrent Emergency Response subscribers have a warning system installed in their premises connected by radio telemetry to a central monitoring station. When an 'alarm activation' occurs, one of several strategically pre-positioned intervention forces is instantly dispatched to arrive on the scene within minutes. Two alternative methods of alarm activation are offered: (a)
Manual activation, via a system of strategically placed fixed "panic
buttons" or by remote "panic buttons" that can be carried by a guard
or located around the perimeter of premises Automatic detection offers a number of benefits over a simple manual system; however both systems provide the same key benefit; that the intervention force is guaranteed to arrive within the agreed time parameters and that effective assistance is provided when required.
